Mixing and Curing Instructions – 2:1 Epoxy Resin (150 ml)
SKU: YR
1. Measure: Measure 2 parts resin and 1 part hardener accurately. For 150 ml total, use 100 ml resin and 50 ml hardener, provided the ratio is specified by volume.
2. Mix Thoroughly: Stir slowly for the time reco-ER21-150mmended by the manufacturer. Scrape the sides and bottom of the mixing cup to ensure a uniform mixture and minimise bubbles.
3. Pour: Pour slowly into a clean, dry mould or onto a prepared surface. Do not exceed the recommended pouring depth.
4. Remove Bubbles: Use a suitable bubble-removal method recommended for the resin. Avoid open flames.
5. Cure: Leave the project undisturbed in a clean, level, dust-free area. Curing generally takes around 12 hours, but may vary depending on climate, temperature, humidity, and casting thickness. Cooler conditions may slow curing, while warmer conditions may accelerate it.
6. Demould: Remove the piece only after it has fully cured and hardened. Allow additional time if needed and follow the manufacturer’s instructions.
Safety Precautions: Wear suitable nitrile gloves and eye protection, ensure good ventilation, and avoid skin contact. Always follow the product’s technical data sheet for mixing ratio, working time, pouring depth, and curing time.
